What this policy covers

This document explains how the Tower War: Link & Conquer iOS game (bundle identifier com.norvera.towerwar), developed by Norvera, handles personal data.

Data we collect

To improve the game, anonymous gameplay events are sent to an analytics service operated by Norvera (PlayInsights). These events contain only the following:

  • A random install identifier — created when the game is first opened. It has no link to your Apple ID, your advertising identifier or any hardware identifier, and a new one is created if you reinstall the game.
  • Device information — model, operating system version, screen resolution, memory size, language.
  • Performance — frame rate and start-up time.
  • Gameplay — levels started and finished, result, duration, stars, powers and boosters used, upgrades, in-game coin movements, which rewarded ads were offered and whether they were watched, session start and length.

What we do not collect

This data is for balancing the game and finding bugs, not for knowing who you are. What we explicitly do not collect:

  • Name, email address, phone number or any other identifier — the game has no accounts.
  • Location. The game never asks for location permission.
  • Contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone access — these permissions are never requested.
  • The advertising identifier (IDFA). Our analytics service never receives it.

Turning analytics off

The game tells you on first launch that it collects gameplay data. You can switch it off at any time from Settings → Anonymous data sharing in the main menu; from that moment no events are collected and older events that could not be sent yet are discarded. The game carries on exactly as before.

Retention and security

Gameplay events are kept on Norvera’s servers for at most 24 months and then deleted. Events are sent encrypted over HTTPS; without a network they wait on the phone until they can be sent. This data is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with third parties.

Your progress, settings and upgrades live only in the game’s folder on your phone; they are not backed up to any cloud. Deleting the game removes them permanently.

Advertising

The game is free and shows rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. An ad opens only when you choose to watch one for a reward (doubling coins, getting a power or booster, continuing after a loss); no ad ever interrupts play by itself. Google selects and serves the ads, acting as an independent data controller for that purpose. Norvera receives no personal data about you from the ad network, only aggregate impression and revenue reports.

To serve ads, AdMob accesses the following from your device:

  • The advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you granted the tracking permission. Without it, iOS does not hand it over.
  • Your IP address, and the coarse country/city inferred from it.
  • Device and app information — model, OS version, language, app version.
  • Ad interactions — whether an ad was shown, dismissed or tapped.

Your ad choices

You are asked before ads are personalised. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google’s consent screen on first launch. If you decline, ads are not personalised; the game and its rewards work exactly the same. You can change your choice later with the Privacy options button in the game’s Settings.

You can withdraw the tracking permission at any time. On your iPhone, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking lets you switch Tower War off. The moment permission is withdrawn, the advertising identifier becomes unavailable.

You can read how Google uses data in advertising at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Children’s privacy

The game is not directed at children specifically, and is declared as such on the App Store. We collect no personal data, including age. Ad content is restricted to a general-audience rating.

Your rights

Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (Article 11) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grant you the right to access, correct and erase your data.

Because gameplay data does not identify you, we can only find the records that belong to you through your install identifier. You will find it at the bottom of the game’s Settings; write to the address below with it and we will delete every record of that install. Turning analytics off stops new records immediately.

For data processed by the ad network, the controller is Google, and you exercise your rights directly against Google.

Changes to this policy

This page is updated whenever the game’s data behaviour changes, and the date above is refreshed. Significant changes are also announced inside the game.
